Sharing

All diagrams created with Model Xtractor are copyrighted! For both commercial and non-commercial purpose, you can only use a fair amount of the diagrams produced by Model Xtractor on external sites or other forms of publication, provided you credit Model-Xtractor.com with a backlink (if used online) or explicit quote. By fair amount we understand a limited number of mixed commented diagrams, and no full coverage of a specific product or component, no aggregating sites that simply reproduce large parts of our diagrams, no intensive usage of our servers, or data extraction by other means than those explicitly provided. Allowed form of diagram sharing is by using one of our plugins. As a subscriber, you will not publish protected diagrams other than by their thumbnail, and will not make public protected links, data, images, PDFs. Linkage or direct usage of images, PDFs, other auxiliary files or screenshots, are not allowed. When not sure if the intended usage stays within the terms of this license, please contact us to get our express approval or negotiate a specific deal.

Copyright

Our website, software and content are protected by copyright as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to international conventions and copyright laws. The user may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works based on, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit, any of the content, software, materials, or services, in whole or in part, except as expressly permitted.

Ethics

The user agrees to not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Model Xtractor members. To not post or transmit any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain passwords or private information from other users. To not contribute any content that is illegal or unauthorized, unwanted (spam), off-topic, infringing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party.

Hacking

The user will not attempt to reverse engineer or gain access to protected or private features, by circumventing the reasonable protective measures in place. To not modify, adapt or hack the website or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with this site. The user will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the website, unless explicitly permitted by Model Xtractor. He will not take any action that imposes, or may impose in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the website or any activities conducted on the website, or bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the website.

Liability

The software is provided with no guarantees, expressed or implied, that it will work as expected at any given time. We will not be held responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from any use, misuse, function, or malfunction of the software and website. We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation. The user remains solely responsible for all uploaded, posted or created content. The user acknowledges that all accessed content is at his own risk and he will be solely responsible for any damage to any party resulting therefrom.

Termination

We reserve the right to deny access and take action against abusive usage of this site, suspend or terminate any account or agreement with the user, without prior notice or liability, if we consider the user breaches any of these terms or conditions. We may impose limits on certain features and services or restrict user’s access to parts or all of the services, without notice or liability. We reserve the right to delete user accounts with invalid email address, offensive user names, created just for spam, that advertise dubious websites in their profile description, with lots of messy diagrams or published diagrams that look like drafts. Suspended user accounts may leave related content that can be deleted or not, at the sole discretion of the Model Xtractor team.

We reserve the right to modify at our discretion this agreement or the content of the website at any time by posting a notice on the site, or by sending to the users a notice via email. Users shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications.
